Art can never be expressed in only one form, there is always a possible combination of expressions addressing multiple senses in the observer or listener. It is this combination of all possible forms and expressions of art that has been fascinating me all my life.
With ’In The Light Of Music‘ I combine two of my greatest passions – music and light. For me, light is only an extension of the music anyways, it can support music and reach people on a more emotional level.
In this exhibition the chalk portraits are skillfully set in scene by a harmonious extra illumination and leave the impression of captured moments of a Live Performance. The custom lighting shows the drawn artists in their most natural habitat performing on stage.
